❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before booking
How much does drone spraying cost? Is it per acre or per flight?
Drone charges depend on farm size — larger farms receive greater discounts. Pricing is per acre, not per flight.

Current promotions:
  • New customers enjoy a first-time cooperation discount (10%)
  • New customers with 50+ acres get a FREE trial covering 5% of their land
Can drone spraying really be better than manual backpack sprayers?
Yes — significantly better. Here's the data from our Ghana operations:

Coverage & Uniformity:
  • Pesticide deposition: 1.8× that of manual labor
  • Uniformity: 95%+ vs. manual's 60-70%
  • Missed spray rate: below 2% vs. manual's 12-16%
Penetration: Drone downdraft (8-10m/s wind) drives pesticide from top of crops to the middle and lower parts, flipping leaves for adhesion on the back — something manual spraying cannot achieve, especially on tall cocoa trees.

Efficiency: One drone covers 15-20 acres per hour vs. 2-3 acres per day manually.
What if it rains after spraying — do I need to pay again?
Contact us immediately after rain with details (how long after spraying it rained, what pesticide was used). Our China analysis team will determine if re-spraying is needed.

If re-spraying is required: You only pay half the contract price for the re-spray.

We will also provide professional agricultural advice to help you minimize losses.
My cocoa trees are very tall — can the pesticide reach the pods below?
This is exactly drones' core advantage in Ghana's cocoa belt!

Our T100 agricultural drones have 8 propellers generating powerful vertical downdraft (equivalent to sustained 4-5 level wind). This airflow physically opens the dense upper canopy, drives droplets in parabolic trajectories to penetrate middle and lower layers, and flips leaves to reach the back — where cocoa black pod disease pathogens mainly hide.

Manual lance sprayers are almost ineffective above 2.5 meters, yet mature cocoa trees are 3-5 meters tall. In Ho city, our cocoa spraying (800+ acres) shows 35% better black pod disease prevention vs. manual spraying.
How much yield increase do you guarantee? Will you compensate if there's no result?
We are transparent about what we can and cannot promise:

Tier 1 — Deterministic Cost Savings (Guaranteed):
  • 25-30% savings on pesticide usage
  • 30-50% savings on labor costs
  • 90% savings on time costs
This is contractually guaranteed. If not achieved, full refund.

Tier 2 — Loss Reduction (High Probability):
  • Cocoa black pod disease: reduce losses by 15-25%
  • Corn fall armyworm: recover 30-50% of potential losses
Losses caused by our technical errors are compensated at 100% of season market value.

Tier 3 — Yield Increase: Depends on seed quality, soil, rainfall. We do not promise specific numbers, but typical results with our full consulting package are 10-20% for grains, 15-30% for cash crops.
Are there any hidden charges besides flight fees?
No hidden charges at all. Besides drone flight fees, there are no additional charges for data analysis, mapping, or anything else.

We provide formal contracts clearly stating all fees. You can ask questions anytime before signing.
My land is less than 15 acres — can I still use your service?
Our minimum area is 15 acres. If your land is smaller, you have two options:

1. Combine with neighbors: If adjacent farmers also want service, we combine your land for discounted pricing. Example: two farmers with 25 acres each = 50 acres total, qualifying for the 50-100 acre price tier (saves 10 GHS/acre).

2. Form a cooperative: We are actively working with farmer organizations. Once cooperation is established, members receive special discounts.
My land is on a hillside — can drones handle uneven terrain?
Absolutely. Our drones are equipped with terrain-following radar — like an off-road vehicle that automatically adapts to slopes, maintaining constant height above crops (error ±5 cm).

In fact, drones are more suitable for slopes than manual labor — carrying pesticide tanks up steep hills is both dangerous and exhausting for workers.
